If Something Should Happen is a true story of my luxury travel adventure gone terribly wrong. The book begins with an interesting peek into our Himalayan journey as we traveled through Bhutan and Nepal. Our journey suddenly went into a downhill spiral when a 7.8 earthquake hit Kathmandu. That seemed to be the genesis of the string of events that nearly led to my death.
I unintentionally had two travel insurance policies: one with Travel Insured and one with Travel Guard. When it was time for them to come into play, the outcome was surprising. One nearly killed me and the other saved my life. I thought I had done my research, but sometimes you just don’t know what to look for. I think that I now know.
